Having established our reputation in the rail industry over more than three decades, we have in recent years brought our transferable capabilities and experience to bear in sectors including utilities, highways and the public sector.  

Through our national delivery teams, we can offer comprehensive design-and-build solutions for projects large and small. We have a flexible, customer-focused approach and can undertake infrastructure work on a turnkey, consultancy, principal contract, sub-contract or resource supply basis.

Civil Engineering: Highways

Enable Infrastructure works with some of the most respected names in the Highways Sector delivering innovative and flexible civil engineering projects. These cover highway improvement schemes such as Section 278 junction improvements, bridges , earthworks, utility diversions, road realignment and surfacing works for local authorities, house builders and private infrastructure organisations across the UK.

Enable Infrastructure have successfully brought our transferable capabilities to the utilities sector in recent years. Our background of working on complex projects in safety-critical rail environments has stood us in good stead for civils work in telecommunications, electrical utilities, gas, water and wastewater treatment services.

As a Principal Contractor for Network Rail and Transport for London, Enable Infrastructure has more than 30 years’ civils experience in rail infrastructure, often delivering highly complex projects in live safety-critical operational and constrained environments, and working on both heavy and metro rail.

In the public sector, Enable Infrastructure’s client base includes both local councils and national government bodies.

Having been selected as a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier, we are delivering a CCS Civil Engineering Framework in southern England and Wales, which covers projects of up to £3m in value. The CCS framework’s flexible contract structure readily accommodates our clients’ varied requirements.
