The judges had the following comments about our entries:

Health, Safety and Well-being Excellence (Company):

“The judges were impressed by the company’s efforts to develop new safety solutions and by the clear overall importance of health and safety, which the executives are clearly invested in and leading on.

Given BCM’s SME admired the company’s willingness to punch above its weight and try to be a leader in the industry.”

Community Engagement Project:

“Brilliant. Wonderful passion and commitment to the local area. Had thought about the long-term benefits to the community. Passionate about community and legacy. Providing physical assets to the community but going back in and trying to leave a legacy for kids to be interested in construction. Genuinely wanting to create change. This was in the final reckoning for the award and is a project to be proud of.”

Construction News Editor Tom Fitzpatrick commented that all winners and shortlisted companies “should be proud that they are raising the bar for this industry. From more than 400 entrants, our deserving winners and shortlisted companies collectively showed the leadership, ingenuity and passion to make this sector world class”.
